Coach “Memo”, as commonly known, is a native from Mexico City. Coach Memo played varsity college soccer for U.N.A.M (National Autonomous University of Mexico), Bryan College (Tennessee) and Pfeiffer University (North Carolina). At Pfeiffer, He was awarded M.V.P. of the year and CVAC-All Conference player. He graduated from Pfeiffer University with a Bachelor and Master’s Degree in Business Administration. Coach Memo also played one season for Toronto Supra of the CSL. Guillermo began coaching in North Carolina.
He coached at the Triangle Futbol Club (Hillsborough, NC). At TFC, He won the league with his U-14 boy’s team. Also, while in North Carolina, He earned a USSF (United States Soccer Federation) "D" National Coaching License. Guillermo also coached women’s varsity in Mexico City for the American School Foundation. At ASF, he assisted the varsity team in winning 3 league titles. Then He moved to Virginia Beach, U.S.A. where he coached U-18 boys for the Virginia Rush Soccer Club.
